Shelter in Place Instated in Sonoma County—X2nSat is Essential

Posted: March 19, 2020

As of March 18th, 2020, Sonoma county has officially been ordered to shelter in place. Many businesses in Sonoma County have now been relegated to working from home or have had to downsize to skeleton crews, but X2nSat remains.

We have been deemed essential and will continue to operate during the pandemic. We have taken precautions to ensure our employees will be safe throughout this crisis and will continue to provide support to our clients and to the surrounding community.

It is important that we continue to provide our services to first responders, hospitals, and utility companies so that they can operate efficiently and keep their communities safe.

As we continue to operate, we are determined to support local businesses around us. There are still several restaurants and grocery stores open in the area that have been forced to downsize due to people sheltering in place.

We understand the strain this type of crisis puts on the community and we want to be sure we give back as much as we can. X2nSat will be ordering lunch delivery from local businesses and providing our employees with food as a way to both support and uplift our community and those who are working hard to ensure X2nSat continues to run smoothly.

We want to encourage others in our community to do the same. There are several restaurants still open for Delivery via Uber Eats or Food Taxi that need your support like Bianchini’s, Beyond The Glory, Lemongrass Thai, Mi Pueblo, and Charley’s Wine Country Deli.

X2nSat currently provides communications to hundreds of companies throughout North America and will continue to do so as an essential part of the Petaluma and Sonoma County community.

Northern California Wildfires

Posted: October 16, 2017

We at X2nSat have been in awe of our community's response to the Sonoma and Napa county wildfires of the past week. There is still much to do, and we're committed to help. Our emergency trailers are equipped with generators and can be quickly deployed as mobile command centers for emergency communications. One is headed to Mayacamas V.F.D. in Glen Ellen. The town of Glen Ellen has lost many phone and power lines, and although the fire department was spared they are currently without electricity. There has been no impact to our network or services as a result of the wildfires.
